Model Release Agreement – Senegal Workshop 2027

This agreement is entered into between the photographer and the model named below, in connection with the Nude Art Photography Workshop at Sama Nopalu Kaï, Somone, Senegal, March 16–24, 2027. It defines the conditions under which the photographer may publish images of the model, and under which the photographer may voluntarily grant the model usage rights for self-promotion.

This agreement must be signed by both parties before the event begins. One copy is retained by each party.

1. Copyright

The photographer retains full copyright of all images taken during the workshop. This agreement grants usage rights only and does not transfer copyright to the model.

2. Photographer's rights of use

The photographer may use the images for personal artistic purposes: portfolio, website, social media, subscription-based platforms, and exhibitions. The photographer shall obtain the model's prior approval before publishing or sharing any image, and shall only publish images the model has approved. The photographer shall credit the model when publishing. Commercial use requires a separate written agreement with the model.

3. Model's rights of use

The photographer may, on a voluntary basis, grant the model the irrevocable right to use images for self-promotion purposes for an unlimited period of time. The photographer's credit must be included in any such use.

4. Limitations

Neither party shall use the images in a defamatory or damaging context, alter them in a manner the other party would find objectionable, or transfer usage rights to any third party without prior written consent.

5. Governing law

This agreement is governed by French law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lyon, France.
